3.5 We may already be developing or considering projects with similar themes, ideas, concepts, or formats, and submission of material does not give you ownership over general concepts or themes.
4. DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION
4.1 Any decision to develop, option, produce, finance, or collaborate on a project will be subject to separate written agreements between both parties.
4.2 No production, development, or commercial relationship exists unless formally agreed in writing.
4.3 Alté Films reserves the right to decline projects or discontinue discussions at any stage.
5. FUTURE FILMMAKER PLATFORM
5.1 Alté Films may, in future, develop a platform or distribution initiative focused on supporting independent African and diaspora films.
5.2 Any future hosting, release, licensing, streaming, or monetisation arrangements relating to films will be governed by separate agreements where applicable.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 All website materials, branding, graphics, logos, text, and original content created by Alté Films remain the intellectual property of Alté Films unless otherwise stated.
6.2 You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, or commercially use any website materials without prior written permission.
6.3 Any intellectual property rights relating to submitted projects remain with the original creator unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. CONFIDENTIALITY

8.1 If any submitted material contains AI-generated or AI-assisted content, this must be disclosed to us.
8.2 You confirm that any AI-generated material submitted does not infringe the rights of any third party and that you hold all necessary permissions to use that material.
