Alongside our production work, Alté Films is also developing a future platform focused on helping independent African and diaspora films continue their life beyond festivals and reach audiences.

We’re currently interested in connecting with filmmakers, writers, directors, and creatives developing original work across film and television, particularly stories rooted in African and diaspora experiences and perspectives.

At this stage, we’re building relationships, discovering new voices, and learning more about the kinds of stories being made independently.

Please note that we are not currently accepting unsolicited scripts or treatments for development. At this stage, we are only looking to connect around completed films and existing projects. We hope to open submissions for scripts and original written material in the future.
